ISIL. Not an Islamic and not state

For several months now, the media has been full of reports about the atrocities of an extremist group that calls itself the “Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant” (ISIL). Leading Muslim scholars immediately condemned the criminal gang, deciding that neither Islam nor the state can be called it. Moreover, its actions openly contradict the very spirit of the religion of Islam.
